PRIORITIES
I’m energized and will work hard to earn your confidence and support. Thanks for taking a few moments to get to know me and how I hope to support you as your state representative.
Sensible Taxation and Strong Public Schools
I’m focused on creating solutions.
Our state ranks 42nd in the nation for state funding of public education. Let’s do better.
Property owners feel like they pay a lot in school taxes. Let’s help them out.
The state has special revenue streams—like the lottery that funds senior programs—but no special revenue stream to help fund public education.
In my first year in office, I’ll work to identify an opportunity for a special revenue stream that will benefit public education with the intent of providing much needed property tax relief.
It’s a win-win for Democrats, Republicans and Independents alike.
Economic Growth
I am a business professional turned business professor.
I like to say I have an M.B.A. and I’m not afraid to use it.
My career experience has formed me to be uniquely qualified to be a promoter of economic growth.
I have worked at the national and regional levels as a marketer in both the profit and not-for-profit sectors, operated a consulting practice focused on small business success, and now am a business professor.
As your state representative, I will advocate for small business and agribusiness initiatives to encourage greater profitability and fuel job growth.
People Over Politics
People in the 91st District deserve a state representative who makes things happen.
I know our district from lived experience here. My years of varied volunteer experiences uniquely position me to advocate for all members of our community.
Let’s be real: Rising prices are squeezing every one of us—it doesn’t matter if you’re a Democrat, Republican or Independent. I will work to shape and support legislation that supports the hard-working people who support us every day—the cashier at your favorite grocery store, first-responders, restaurant workers, and more—being able to live here.
I’m a business person—I believe in growth—but growth that is measured and doesn’t sacrifice the district’s rich rural heritage. I will work to shape and support legislation that supports both.
