Rising prices in all we buy are squeezing every one of us. It doesn’t matter if you’re a Democrat, Republican or Independent, everyone needs affordable electricity and natural gas.

WHAT WOULD KATHLEEN PRATT DO?

I want you to have fair energy access and fair pricing. Regulation and oversight of utilities are necessary in order to protect you.

I support construction of new power plants to service all sectors of our economy, but with the provision that they conform to environmental regulations that keep their workers and host communities safe.

Power plants impact their host communities and they should pay impact fees to the local county, municipality, and school district.
