WHAT HAS REP MOUL DONE?

Moul disagrees that inspections and vetting processes are necessary to guarantee children’s safety. In a March, 2026 House Republican Policy Committee hearing in York County, Moul stated, “There’s so much overregulation and inspection, making it more and more difficult all the time for it to be profitable for somebody to go into the childcare business.”

WHAT WOULD KATHLEEN PRATT DO?

I support public investment in child care and Pre-K to support children, working families, businesses and our state’s economy. One answer is to increase state subsidies to qualified and vetted child care providers. Families earning up to 400% of the Federal Poverty Level, $128,600 for a family of four, should have access to affordable, high quality child care.
